How it works
Enter your details
Type your test scores exactly as they appear on your results. The calculator converts them to Canadian Language Benchmark levels with the official IRCC tables.
Read your breakdown
Your score is split the way IRCC splits it: core human capital, spouse factors, skill transferability and additional points, next to the latest draw cutoffs.
Plan the next step
The list of changes is ranked by how many points each would add, with your new score. Share it, or go through it with an advisor.
Questions people ask
Does a job offer still give CRS points?
Not until 2 November 2026. IRCC removed job offer points on 25 March 2025. From 3 November 2026 a job offer in a high-wage occupation can earn 50 to 100 points, and high-wage Canadian work earns extra points too. Choose the rule set at the top of the calculator.
Which language tests can I use?
For English, IELTS General Training, CELPIP-General or PTE Core. For French, TEF Canada or TCF Canada. Results must be less than two years old when you create your profile and when you apply. IELTS Academic and PTE Academic are not accepted for Express Entry.
Is my score high enough to be invited?
Nobody can know in advance. IRCC sets the cutoff in each round from the people in the pool at that time. Compare your score with recent draws of the same type, and remember that category rounds such as French or healthcare only invite people who meet that category.
I am in Nigeria with no Canadian experience. Which programme fits me?
Most applicants abroad enter through the Federal Skilled Worker Program. You need CLB 7 in all four abilities, at least one year of skilled work in the last ten years, an Educational Credential Assessment and 67 points on the selection grid. The calculator checks all of these.
What raises a CRS score fastest?
For most people, a better language result. Moving from CLB 7 or 8 to CLB 9 in every ability adds points in the core section and in skill transferability. Strong French adds up to 50 extra points. A provincial nomination adds 600.
Does the calculator store my answers?
No. It runs in your browser. We count anonymous results, such as the score and which programme fits, and never your name or contact details.
