Conditions if you accept

  • Second-year living allowance requires at least 48 of 60 ECTS completed by the end of year one
  • Cannot be combined with any other partial or full scholarship
  • Must stay enrolled at TU Delft; no financial extension beyond two years
  • Part-time work is discouraged; full terms are in the award letter

Tips for a stronger application

  • With only 2 awards per faculty this is among the most competitive awards in the Netherlands, so build a plan B.
  • Ask your referee early; one strong, specific reference letter from a lecturer who knows your work matters.
  • Electrical Engineering applicants can also be considered for TU Delft's separate partial Microelectronics scholarship, which has the same deadline.
  • Write the scholarship form around concrete achievements such as class rank, projects and publications.
